The process of making murrine can be traced back to 16th century Venetian glassmakers, who layered many different glass colors around a core, which was then melted, stretched, cooled, and cut into small cross-sections. The resulting pieces of individual murrina can add splashes of color and detail to glass projects. Bullseye murrine are available in a variety of vibrant patterns and images. Bullseye Glass is Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, USA
