Autumn Palettes in Bullseye Glass, 1–3

fall palettes with an image of a squirrel and an old library with moody books

AUTUMN: a word derived from “harvest,” when the summer sun has finished saturating the earth and the land offers up its bounty. Besides fields and trees and all they bear, we might think of home and hearth, a mug of tea, a stack of books, a return in earnest to studies and studio.

Oranges, browns, reds, taupes, golds—the colors themselves are a cornucopia. To help inspire your fall projects, we’ve curated three standout glass palettes from Bullseye’s catalog. Check them out below.

~ A Note on Striking Glasses ~

Striking Glasses are glass styles that may not reveal (or strike to) their target color until fired. For stained glass purposes, artists have several options:

  1. Striker styles can be pre-struck in a kiln.
  2. Some striker styles in their cold form are very near to the struck form. Hover over all styles to see examples of each glass in its cold state.
  3. To see which styles do not require heatwork, select "no" in the striker filter. Or, select "non-fusible" in the grade filter.
