Glass can be shaped over and into molds in a kiln, using heat and gravity to create an almost endless variety of forms: plates, bowls, platters, and more. Our slipcast molds are crafted from a specially formulated clay body that boasts an exceptionally smooth surface, accepts kilnwash uniformly, and won't crack under repeated use when handled properly.
