Overview

Make your mark on glass. Use these ceramic underglaze pencils to sign your name or add other handwritten text, draw on one or more layers, or create shading effects.

The pencil requires the friction of a rough surface to make a mark. Think of this as equivalent to a tooth in paper. You can achieve this by tack fusing powder, sandblasting, or coldworking sheet glass with with loose grit, diamond handlaps, angle grinder, or anything else that can leave a rough surface.
